Managing Appointments, Insurance & Payments

Apricity Counseling and Psychiatric Services uses Headway as our full-service practice management platform for tasks such as insurance verification and billing. However, if you have Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas (or another Blue Cross and Blue Shield plan) or traditional Medicare (non-Advantage), and you experience difficulty scheduling, please contact us directly. Some of these plans may not integrate smoothly with the Headway platform, and we want to ensure you can access care without delay.

Between Sessions

Therapy extends beyond the time spent in the room. Whether you’re practicing a new coping skill, reflecting on recent conversations, or navigating a challenge that came up midweek, know that your growth continues between appointments. Your provider may share helpful tools, journaling prompts, or readings to support that process.

If something urgent arises between sessions, please reach out directly to your therapist through your usual communication method.
