The word Apricity comes from an old English word that describes the gentle warmth of sunlight on a cold day. It’s a quiet kind of comfort, the kind that reminds us there is still light and warmth even in the middle of winter.
This meaning in nature captures what we hope to provide you in each session: light in the midst of heaviness, and the reminder that even in difficult seasons, warmth and hope are still possible.
It’s support you can feel, even when life feels uncertain. It’s a calm, clear space for you to be yourself, without pressure or judgment.
We know that reaching out for support takes courage. Apricity was born out of a shared vision between three colleagues who were disillusioned by systems where bureaucracy too often overshadowed human connection. We were burnt out but not broken, and we imagined something better. Apricity is that vision realized: a space where both clients and providers are seen, heard, and valued. We believe in healing that is collaborative, not one-size-fits-all. You know your life best, and we are here to help you make sense of it, grow through it, and find new ways forward.
We are committed to helping you access the tools, support, and space you need to make meaningful and lasting change, with intention, care, and the belief that connection matters.
